I am a guitarist. I build guitars from scratch. I can make a cheap, nasty guitar play well.
I shift from soft and smooth to hard and rough. I have developed a distinctive style. I am blazingly fast and run up and down the length of the instrument easily. I know more chords than there are.
Electric guitar allows me to get too "out there" - So, every few years I have to put down the electric and get back to basics (acoustic).
