Marria started sharing her vocal talent with the world at a very young age and hasn't stopped. Expressing her talent for music, not only with her vocals, but in her song writing, she has shown through the years that her passion for music goes beyond simple lyrics and melodies.
Starting off in choral groups and moving on to private functions and occassional party performances, Marria made her voice known in the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding areas, before moving to Medford and seeking new opportunities in the local music scene.
In March of 2009, Marria joined FUNKAMUNGUS as their female vocalist and has added to the awesome energy that made FUNKAMUNGUS such an amazing funk band.
After "funking up" the local music scene with FUNKAMUNGUS for two and a half years, Marria went on to explore new projects and new opportunities, including an expansion of her original music and other small compilation projects.
Marria is currently the lead vocalist for Southern Oregon's own premier variety band, SAUCY, along side bass player, Richard Doshier, guitarist James Fletcher, keyboardist Elena Shpatenko and drummer Jerry Horton.
