Hello. Drummer kind of new to Placerville area. I'm looking for casual get togethers, jamming, writing, recording, and occasional gigs. I have a family so I'm not able to commit to a full-time band, practices every week, gigs every weekend, etc. I like recording and have experience in the studio and using Logic Pro.
I can do classic rock, but really enjoy old-school Bakersfield Country. Pick any song off the SiriusXM Bakersfield Beat station and I'd probably be into it.
I'd also like to get back into Jazz. I took a number of jazz ensemble classes at the Jazz School in Berkeley some years back. Cracking open The Real Book, learning a few standards, and playing wineries sounds appealing.
I enjoy working on original material as well.

EQUIPMENT
I turned my den into a small, modest music room. It would be OK for a 3-4 piece jazz group, but not for a full-on loud band. I have a 4-piece kit there, digital piano, and recording gear.
