Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Upright bass.ABOUT
Actually looking for a Bassist that can sing well. I have a very powerful voice but want to "travel light" so to speak. Sharing vocals adds interest and variety. I would like to explore doing a blues oriented "Electric Hot Tuna" type group. Perhaps a power trio with a singing percussionist too.
A duo guitar and bass. presents an easy show format with lots of room to improvise. I grew up listening to multiple musical genres from Classical to Big Band to Country to Blues but have been a Dead Head since 1967 when they released their first album. I enjoy improvisational rock a la the Dead & Phish, Burrito Bros. Etc. In the early 90's I played Bluegrass for a few years but really prefer electric lead/rhythm guitar and am a "front man/singer." I recently (March 2019) began working with a dobro player/Lap Steel/vocalist. We are still learning each other's style while working on a playlist.
