Bass Guitar.

Magnum Chaos is a guitarist and drummer looking for a bass player to complete our trio. We are writing material and have booking contacts at some of the nicer venues in town.

Our music, put simply, is hard instrumental rock. The sound is a bit like Andy Timmons/Satriani with slightly less noodling and not near as quirky as Steve Vai. And not as progressive as all the sit down guitarists on be. This music will be played live and loud. We need someone who can lay down a tight and thick foundation as well as occasional harmonies that keep the tunes moving while the guitar handles the melodic work.

If you don't enjoy or "get" instrumental music, then you might not really dig this project.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in. . . here's some criteria...

- Be able to meet first to see if we even dig each other.

- Have gear that can keep up with cranked tube amps and large hard hitting drums.

- Have some samples of your work.

- Practice the songs on your own time and come prepared and ready to rehearse once a week.

- Songwriting or riff ideas would be a plus but not a deal breaker if you more of a "learn what's written" kind of guy.

I write and record in Plano in my home studio and we rehearse in a cozy home in Mesquite. No rehearsal space rent.

Our is updated regularly with updated cuts. If it sounds like something you would be interested in don't hesitate to make contact.
