Bio: I could not find anyone as serious about music as I am. So, I taught myself, with the help of God, to play various instruments, such as:
* drums
* keyboards
* guitars
I found that I have a natural, God-given talent to not only play music, but to write, arrange, edit and "hear" music, as well as "feel" music. Thus, I formed "Major Throw Down".
My music is influenced by such artists as Prince, Cameo, Rick James, etc.
My music has a funk, R&B sound, with a twist of soul and emotion.
I feel that God has given me messages to not only enlighten, but heighten the awareness of such things as the day to day struggles, the homeless, serious-committed romance being forgotten, etc. This is being done through my music.
I have visited and met with individuals in the industry, such as Bert Padell, Dino Devalle (Senior VP of Urban Music at Sony Records) and Fred Munao (President of Select Records). These meetings assisted me and made me aware of what direction I wanted to go.
I now have my publisher's license and am a member of ASCAP.
I am excited about music and am looking to form my own band...one who will be totally committed to music, to bring the awareness of the struggles of life and the triumphs of endurance and perseverance back to music.
