Looking to start a beat club type band with blues, jazz, funk, rock, and swing influences. Think early songs by The Animals (John Lee Hooker, Chuck Berry, and Ray Charles covers), looking to do a few ballads but mostly upbeat stuff. Led Belly is the best songwriter I know of, and yet his recordings are like nails on a chalkboard to me. I like hearing covers of anything he's done, and of course would want to make some.
