Been playing instruments since I was 8. Picked up alto sax initially and then eventually grabbed a bass guitar along the way. Growing up I was in concert bands, jazz bands, and wind ensembles. Took a break in college to focus on education and then joined a band again in grad school where we played at local bars and lawn parties. Primarily I play bass as I enjoy it more and sax is difficult to practice without angering the neighbors (thin apartment walls) but I will gladly pick up either!
