I moved to Reno on 9/11/08 with my wife and I have been actively searching for a band. I have been singing since I was 14 years old, and playing hand-percussion for nearly as long. I do not know how to read sheet music, however I have a VERY good ear. In regards to the drop menu questions at the bottom, I havnt played any gigs, however I have sang karaoke in front of people probably more than 10,000 times and have absolutely no stage fright. I try to practice every day, sometimes for an hour, sometimes for 5 hours, its whatever im feelin and if I need to relieve such tension! I get SAT/SUN off and I work from 6-2:30pm so again, no problem wether its gigs or just jamming im a team player. However I have some new tactics on getting exposure rather than the same rigor moreau madness everyone always does.

Influences
Jim Morrison, Robert Plant, Steven Tyler, in regards to frontmen and stage presence. The directionito I think I would like to persue would be a mix between Metallica, Disturbed, NIN, STP and many others, but im sure you get the sound. I am very open to outside influence as well, so please bring your opinions to the table, and lets talk about hookin this up!
EQUIPMENT
My equipment is relatively minimal due to me having to sell some of it for the move. I do have my drum, digereedoo, PC a mic stand, and a small amp at the moment. However upon getting together with a band that looks like we might be jamming, making an investment is anything but an issue.
