SEEKING
Acoustic Guitar, Clarinet, Fiddle, Piano, Violin.ABOUT
We formed to share and preserve the traditional Sicilian/Italian music, culture, and also to help preserve the beautiful Sicilian Language.
My volunteer trio the MaMa Mias Sicilian Italian folk band is looking to add women musicians who play either acoustic guitar, and/or, violin and/or clarinet to our group.
Our mission is to preserve the Sicilian Language and to preserve our beautiful traditional and folk music heritage. We play at the Independence Italian Cultural Museum for all special events, the local public library, and in Amite at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chapel's Feast Day annual festivities after prayers.
If you live on the Northshore either in St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, or Livingston parishes and are interested, message me on the MaMa Mias Sicilian-Italian Band Page.
