Hello,
I have organized a collaborative project, currently unnamed. We had been calling it the human loop station, though it has evolved into something different from that. But I haven’t yet changed the name of our group, which you’re welcome to join if you’re interested in playing with us:

We play in Somerville, MA. Our group is sort of a collective -- we never have the exact same line-up twice. We usually get about 6-7 folks for a practice. It’s all improvisation. We try to always have some repetitive elements in there, to articulate clear themes, so the spirit of the human looper lives on. We want to carve unique blocks of sound, and not amorphous wandering jams. Ideally, the themes we evoke should be loose and flexible in syntax, so that almost any conceivable piece fits into the puzzle. We achieve these goals with varying degrees of success.

I don't know why I do what I do, but if I had to guess at my influences, it would be Brian Eno, Radiohead, Alice In Chains, Syd Barrett and Talking Heads. And Neil Young.
