ABOUT

I'm a songwriter and music producer. Recently I moved to Laguna Niguel, California and I'm looking for musicians to put together a project. I sing and play some guitar, but what I do the most is write singer/songwriter type songs (both in Spanish and English) with a lot a poetic content and meaning. I can also play the trumpet and love to compose instrumental pieces. Currently, I participate in a Symphonic Metal band project called Kristalida, where I am a vocalist, songwriter, producer, and engineer.

I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2006, and I have a Master's Degree in Entertainment Business. I am also a Brand Development Professional.

Influences

My influences are widely eclectic and include (but it is not limited to) Silvio Rodriguez, Mecano, Madonna (early years), Debbie Gibson, Chicago (albums 16 to 21), Lisa Loeb, L'arc~en~Ciel, Glay, Malice Mizer and Classical composers like Bach, Mozart, Chopin, etc.

I like many artists and bands (some of them I like them better than my list of influences), but not all of them have really influenced the way I compose and produce music. If I'm going to describe my music I could say something like "Mecano meets El sueño de Morfeo" but my goal is not to sound like somebody else, instead my goal is to create something unique. I love Rock, Pop, and Country (and Blue Grass and Folk) music as well.
