Hi! I’m a classically trained violinist who has been playing and teaching for about 20 plus years. I have my masters in violin performance from Brooklyn College, and I’m looking to play music with people in styles other than classical. (Of course I LOVE classical music) but I’m looking to expand my horizons. I did some light Celtic gigging in undergrad and really enjoyed doing improv. I’ve been told I have a pretty good ear for picking up melodies and I really enjoy arranging music for my students’, even though I don’t consider myself a lyricist or a composer per se. I would love to try writing melodies with someone who has lyrics or who is a skilled lyricist.

Influences
Beatles, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Arcade Fire, Gary Clark Jr, 80’s synth pop, Electronica, 90’s Dance, Fania, Anne Sophie Mutter.. to name a few. Honestly my taste is all over the map but as I wrote earlier, I have a pretty good ear so I like to play along to a lot of different kinds of music.

Violin, Viola I have an amp, a pickup (it’s old and I’ll probably need a new one-I can get it easily though If needed), a music stand, a music stand light, and binders of music! :)
