Hi everyone. I am changing my profile to reflect a project that I am currently involved in which is becoming a lot of fun for all involved.
The project is getting together once a week and playing the music of The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Mood Blues and whatever else appeals to us in this genre. We do this with our own particular flair. We currently are Bass, 2 Guitars, Keys, Viola and Drums. We have two main vocalists. All total, we are six. 4 male and 2 female. Harmony is something we wish to focus more on. We would like to have another keyboardist / pianist who also sings harmony. Male or Female.
We are rehearsing weekly. 30-50 years of age. All nice people and talented. Performance is a maybe, if it works for everyone and pays reasonably well. We play in a recording studio. Record most times and shoot video, which is posted on You tube.
This is the type of opportunity that appeals mostly to people who love music and enjoy being with others of like mind. It's also an opportunity to sharpen your skills. We play this music with heart and refined awareness of the subtleties. We like to listen to each other and work off of each other. We like to get it right but don't get bogged down in ego nonsense. This is laid back but very cool.
