Searching for the right band. I've been playing as a pro or semi-pro for over 35 years. All styles, all genres and looking for something interesting and worthwhile.
I'm looking to gig out and get paid, not spend all my time rehearsing. I can pick up a night's worth of covers in a week if need be. I am NOT looking for bands that have no experience, want to practice their own individual parts on my time, or to play out without getting paid for it.
I've been at this a long time and although I no longer play professionally full time, I still take a responsible, professional approach to playing in a group and expect everyone else involved to do likewise.

Influences
Far too many to name. As far as bands, everything from Yes, Rush, Led Zeppelin and The Who to the Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, John Mayer and on and on.
As far as bass players...Paul McCartney, John Entwistle, John Paul Jones, Pino Palladino, Geddy Lee, Sting, Chris Squire, Oteil Burbridge, and on and on.
EQUIPMENT
I have my own professional bass rig and lights. I can play outdoor concerts or little bars with or without PA support.
