ABOUT

I am both a classical and jazz flutist as well as jazz pianist. I have played flute in small group jazz scenarios and presently am co-principal in a civic orchestra in the Hartford, CT area. I have played keyboard with various big bands and in smaller groups. I earned my BS in Music Education at the University of Bridgeport in 1979, my Masters of Music Education from the Hartt School, University of Hartford in 1985 and my Ph.D. in Music Education from the Hartt School in 2015. I also studied privately with Julius Baker from the NY Philharmonic from 1982 - 1986.

Just a note that I have played everything on the tracks I have posted on this site. I have sequenced the Rhodes, bass, drums, percussion, and strings. The flute is played live and dubbed over the sequenced tracks.

At this point, I have committed to playing with two different settings. If you need a sub to fill in for something, feel free to contact me.
