PREVIOUS PROFILE
I'm looking to possibly join a working band or small acoustic group. I performed in an oldies/Motown band for years and was a choir director for many years for a Catholic Church. Due to work my music was sidelined (although I kept up my chops at home for the most part). My work schedule recently slowed and I'm now much more available and interested if the right group comes along. My passion is putting together great vocal arrangements and the core rhythm of the songs. I am expert on acoustic and rhythm guitars, and strong on lead (especially blues). I also studied voice so have a fairly strong lead vocal baritone voice.
I may have interest in collaborating on original music. But at 56 years old my aspirations are just to make some friends and perform good music. If other things come, all the better.
Ideally, performing a few times a month would be great. (I did the bar band deal Friday/Saturday for many years. Might be open to this level of performance given the band and circumstances.)
