Objective: Highly motivated musician seeking professional opportunity to play with a Christian band/worship team and/or church.
Summary: I love to be creatively expressive. Whether it’s through music or art, I find myself overtaken by the passion of wanting to express myself in many different ways. I was exposed at an early age to concerts, and events of all kinds of genres... everything from R&B, Classic Rock to hip hop and classical. At a young age of 7 years old I got my first drum set. I played the drums and sang throughout my school years in different groups and talent shows. In the early 1990’s, I got my start in the industry when I moved to Miami and formed my group MCSC; In 1993 I had opportunities to perform at many different events and it led to getting the opportunity to open up for CeCe Peniston; who had the hit song “Finally” in 1992. By 1996 we had a #36 Billboard single “Dreamgirl” on our self titled album MCSC.
It led me to work with artists such as Stevie B, C&C Music Factory and others in the industry. I traveled around the world touring singing, dancing and playing drums. I learned a lot about different cultures and types of music in other parts of the world. It enlightened me to try different melodies and styles of music. In 2010, I released my single ”Here We Go” on Pyramid Music. In 2012, I released another single called “Into the Future” featuring Freedom Williams of C&C Music Factory. Also in 2022 my song “SAVE THE WORLD” has been released on pandora radio, iheart radio and other platforms. I now glorify God with the gift of music he’s given me as I have been searching for a Christian based production, band or church to give back and dedicate my life to playing for the Lord. I am a devout Christian and would like to dedicate my life worshipping and praising the Lord via music as well as a member of a congregation being lead by Jesus helping wherever needed.
My influences began from the percussive side of music. I was attracted to the rhythm of the beat and flavorful melodies. At 6 years old I would turn my mom’s kitchen pots and pans into a giant floor drum set and get the wooden spoons out and pretend to be the drummer of the band. Today I’m into whatever is on Christian radio, old or new and a lot of positive music both lyrical an instrumental. Feeling a calling to give back and worship as a drummer/percussionist for Christ. “Quote” Your talent is Gods gift to you, what you do with it is your gift back to God…
