Like to join an outfit who's ready to commit to a long list of edgy or atleast lighter rock as a foundation to get a foot in the door somewhere as a house band or cover band , to attain a steady gig . I'm not anti original materialistic I've just come to the realization that the few and far between that actually reap any
Reward for engaging init are much to far and few from the circles I have been unfortunate enough to spend time with.
Originals come with time from time in playing with other musicians but as far as I am concerned they are back burner priority I d like to play for the people again and not 3 hours worth of logistics

Influences
To be considered for tribute bands or house bands to hold down a night it really depends on your vocalist what you will be able to put together as a set list. I can learn just about anything but if I had a blank checkbook to name drop covers.
At the high end of acceptability I'm a metal drummer to my core fluent double bass disturbed/ sevendust/megadeth/ the usual suspects but realistically no one is giving that cover band a steady weekend gig slot.
So realistically zztop/journey/foreigner/
Top 40 rock would be my negotiable preferences. But like I said it's all a moot point until your vocalist is in place and realistically lays out what they can pull off.
