Past Events
“Boob Tube Armada” plays TV theme songs past and present. We are currently comprised of three musicians that are also theatrical improvisers.
We are seeking fun, talented, down-to-earth, open-minded, musical entertainers that can play by ear (in addition to reading music) and have a crazy passion for TV theme songs (mostly from the 70’s and 80’s). We will add theatrical performance elements to some shows to engage our audience, so being comfortable on stage is a must. We will also be engaging in some theatrical improv warm-ups as part of our rehearsals and shows so having a silly side is encouraged.

4. Someone who can also perform back up vocals and share lead is a plus, but is not required.

What do you need to know?
This is a labor of love and there will not be pay for rehearsals or shows. We are simply looking to form a tight band of performers that put on a FUN show. We will be pursuing festival/fair gigs as well as traditional bar gigs.
We have a 3-4 day band retreat planned for the weekend of September 3, 2010 at a vacation rental for a September/October band debut.
Rehearsals are currently scheduled every third Saturday starting July 10, 2010. 11am-3pm with increased frequency closer to shows.
