1-4-19 "URGENT!!!

The band I play bass in, The Roustabouts, a CT classic rock band that plays 30-40 gigs a year needs a lead guitarist NOW! We are booking gigs and already have some on the books.

Interested guitarists must have:

1. The ability to rehearse once week in Prospect, CT and regularly gig Fridays, Saturdays and some Sundays.
2. Knowledge of the fretboard. Not all songs are done in original keys. If you're asked to take a tune down a major second or minor third you need to understand what's being asked and know how to get it done.
3. Solid, flexible and versatile chops.
4. Understanding of basic song form
5. Knowledge of simple music theory i.e. measures, time signatures, note values, simple diatonic harmony, chord structure.

Please have audio samples you can point us to prior to the first audition.

First auditions will be in Bethel CT. "

I've been a drummer for over 35 years in many situations that range from a touring club rock band, a Caribbean steel band, big bands, a funk band with complete horns (one of my favorites) and and many jazz quartets.

I am looking to join a funk, RnB, jazz or Latin band complete with horns. Even though I've played many many different styles, I'm not interested in drumming with metal, hard rock, classic rock or country bands.

While drums is my main instrument, most of my work in the last three years has been on bass. Bands have included classic rock bar bands, funk groups and an eclectic band that covered such artists as Toto, Kansas, Tori Amos and Peter Gabriel.

I'm looking to join a full time band as a bassist that is established and working. I am dependable, can read and am quick study.

Check out the recording section of M13productionsDOTcom to hear examples of my drumming work. I can be reached via the mail link(s) found there.
