I'm almost 21 years old (21 days) and I've been playing bass for 4-5 years at this point. I consider myself to be pretty good. That being said, I do not have much experience writing my own lines and I have never done any studio work, but I'd be interested in anything like that if the situation is right. I've been a part of two or three bands, doing almost all covers. I play with only my fingers. I'm interested in learning how to play with a pick, but I always have trouble getting into it. I'm also learning slap, but I'm still a beginner at it. I have a little experience singing and sang as a bass/baritone in school. I'm still working on being able to sing and play simultaneously.

Honestly, I'm happy with just about any type of music minus pop. I'm learning some jazz and listen to anything from classic rock to metal to pop punk. I'd probably say my two favorite bands are Iron Maiden and Rush (kind of strange), but you name it, I'm probably okay with it.
