My name is Markus Johnson. I'm a musician and music producer. I'm known for worship leading in churches, for conferences, tailor made workshops where I train musicians and singers for a strong and healthy foundation in music Ministry. I'm available for interim worship leading. Training and discipling others in music and God's Word is what I enjoy. I'm also a pastor, leading a Ministry Training Center in the North Ga. area. I'm a studio musician and specialize in multitracking.

I tend to bend my ear to legends who have longevity in music. With that said, the artists of my youth have influenced me in what it means to have foundation. Have you ever seen a building go under construction for its' foundation to be remodeled or restructured? No! The building itself may undergo remodeling for the exterior or interior but never the foundation. I believe in solid foundation and fundamentals that can continue to be built upon. This is my principle for music. I am yet influenced by gospel artists who are living and deceased. John P. Kee, The Clark Sisters, Walter Hawkins, James Cleveland, Donald Lawrence, The Winans, Thomas Whitfield, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Joe Pace, Commissioned, Andrae Crouch and Edwin Hawkins. To be versatile in my craft, I want to be able to blend in if necessary. So, I have CCM artists that I follow as well. Michael W. Smith, 2nd Chapter of Acts, Bryan Duncan, The Archers and Petra just to name a few. These artists sound like old school but again, they are my foundation. Though I may not play their music material from their era, when I play the music of today, you will hear a piece of everyone in my playing. That's the power of influence that many musicians lack today. Just because you can mimic something musically doesn't mean that you're influenced by that artist.
