Currently in two bands. The Blues band is called Out at Midnight. The other band - All in Red - covers traditional jazz and R&B tunes from the past. A past band (the Baxters) has been featured on several Wisconsin Punk and Power Pop compilations. Been playing lead and rhythm guitar for decades. Been playing Bass Guitar on and off for almost as long. Working on lap steel guitar. My roots are in Rock and Roll.
I practice guitar daily and play with others whenever I can. I've done short notice fill-in gigs at several venues across town with local blues artists. Always looking for more.
Have written lots of tunes in the past. Can improvise to almost anything. Primary instrument is guitar. Can sing lead or background. Will play Blues, R&B, Jazz, Rock, some Pop. Not very interested in Country, Hip Hop, Rap or Heavy Metal.

Pretty Woman Year: 2011 Album: None Genre: Classic Rock
Demo recording of current band. I sing lead and play all guitar parts. This is a flawed recording that was not good enough for general release, but it has some good parts. This is for listening only.
You Give Me Love
You Give Me Love Year: 1981 Genre: Punk
Recorded live in the studio with my old band the Baxters, back in the day. We were a PowerPop group - sort of on the fringes of Punk. It's me on guitar and lead vocal, Greg Scott (Malcolm) on Bass and backup vocals and Jim Keller on drums. I did the recording and production on a TEAC 4 track deck. Minor tweaks were done around 2006 on a Macintosh. Copyright 2014 Krohne, All Rights Reserved.
Your Turn to Cry (Live, 3- piece Power-Pop)
Your Turn to Cry (Live, 3- piece Power-Pop) Genre: Punk
This is a live rehearsal recording of the Baxters in the late 70s or early 80s. Me on vocals and guitars, Greg Scott on bass and backup vocals, Jim Keller on drums. We did all original music back in those days and had a small following. Recorded on a TEAC 4 track deck and digitally mixed down to stereo in 2006. Friday August 7 at Fatt Matt's Rib Shack (1811 Piedmont in Atlanta, GA) with Wild Oak Band with guest start Kerry Hill. I will be on lead guitar (probably a Telecaster).
