I come from a rock background. All the music that is posted on my profile is performed, recorded, mixed and written by me as a studio one man band. In the late 70's early 80's when i started playing it was the era of DIY punk rock. I, like many others blended the sound of punk and heavy bands like Sabbath's blues metal to develop what was called the seattle "grunge" sound. I recorded and performed with allot of the musicians of that time. I later moved into traditional blues music and now blend those styles to play a more alt rock combo. First and formost I am a singer/songwriter. I like to have fun with my songs and although I like to take my art serious i do not like to take it over the edge to an ego drivin monster

Influences

As I said I was very into the early Seattle sound, I love bands like The Racontuers and heavier bands like Alice in Chains, Helmet, Nirvana,Pearl Jam, STP, and Army of Anyone. I am also very moved by artists like Ray lamontange (the Trouble CD).

EQUIPMENT

I have a long list of touring quality pro gear, I play through early model Line6 amps, I play Gibson and Gretsch guitars and use LR Baggs acoustic preamps, as well as Mackie Onyx mixers.
