I am a mandolinist who has been playing semi-professionally for the last three years with a classical mandolin ensemble and a Celtic group. I've been playing music for the past eight years starting with guitar before transitioning to mandolin. I'm looking for another musician or group to rehearse/jam with regularly in the hopes of getting professional gigs. If you're a singer/guitarist who likes to have a mandolinist playing counterpart with you, I am the person for you. My improvisational skills are strong and I don't go over the top. I am also willing to help with lyrics if you are a songwriter, as I am also a published poet who wants to learn the fine points of songwriting.
