'Ello. The name's Maryanne, and I basically breathe music. I've been singing since I was very young. Always been told by others that I have a " real talent" when it comes to music, which is definitely always awesome to hear from others, but I'm my own worst/best critic (whichever way you want to look at it) so I'm consistently practicing and trying to better myself.

Oh, a heads up... this ridiculous music scene filled with people who just scream random words and call it music... I'm not into that. There's artful screaming and then there's just screaming because that's all you can do. Artful screaming = great. Screaming for 3 minutes straight and calling it music = naive.

I also play piano, guitar, and bass... however, I've never had lessons, so I can't read a note to save my life. I play solely by ear. And I love it. But singing is definitely my highest of passions in music.

I'm a full time student and work full time, however, to me, music comes first. I know my "priorities", but I also know how to mix priority with living life the way I need to. I'm in the process of getting everything in check and starting my project within the next few months. If you're interested, feel free to send me a message!

Many many influences, too many to even come close to naming them all... but here are a few.

Avenged Sevenfold, Tool, Linkin Park, Pantera, Korn, Nine Inch Nails, Johnny Cash, Lacuna Coil, Metallica, Five Finger Death Punch, In This Moment, Metallica, Stone Temple Pilots, Hed PE, Godsmack, Evanescence, Three Days Grace, Sublime, Hurt, Eminem, Slipknot, A Perfect Circle, 10 Years, Killswitch Engage, The Misfits, My Chemical Romance, Andrew Lloyd Webber... (I have a very wide range of influences... I don't discriminate against any "genre" of music... all that matters is that I can "feel" it.)

The list could really go on and on, so those few will have to do for now. ;)
