I'm looking to start up a power metal/neo-classical metal band. Something along the lines of Unlucky Morpheus, Symphony X, Rhapsody of Fire, Nightwish, Galneryus, etc. I'm 32 and I've been playing (mainly lead) guitar and composing for 15 years. I have lots of material to work with.
I'm looking for a 2nd lead/rhythm guitarist, bassist, drummer, a singer male or female with a powerful full voice, keyboardist and a violinist would be nice too. You don't have to have experience writing music but being creative is a plus. However I'm not looking for amateurs when it comes to performance, you should be able to sing or play your instrument very well and be able to keep up. You have to be serious about music, I've decided music is going to be my main focus in life and I want something great to come from this, as you should you.
Unlucky Morpheus is a good representation of the sound I'll mainly be shooting for, if you haven't heard their stuff you should definitely check them out. If you think you'd be a good fit don't hesitate to contact me, you never know what might come from it.
