I have been playing guitar since I was a teenager. Not going to put a lot of people out of work here but I do okay. In the early to mid 90's was the rhythm guitar and lead vocal of a 4 piece band. We played only what we wrote and did okay but in hindsight should have done a lot more covers. Now I have a little studio in my attic where I do all the instruments. Teaching myself banjo but damn, it's tougher then it looks.
