Iron Possum has been together almost a year. We are guys in our early to mid 40s. When we were in our 20s we all used to play in original rock bands.. Now we've gotten together to play country music.. We play mostly modern country, with a little older country, but we play it with a bit of rock edge. We have played out about half a dozen times while we have been working towards a full 4 hour set. We are currently 4-5 songs from having all the material we need to play the local bar and club scene

Influences
The members of Iron possum have a huge variety of individual influences, but the band as whole is influenced by bands/artists like blackberry smoke, Brantley Gilbert, Jason Alden, skynrd. And others in the "rocking country" style of music

We are a 5 piece band, CURRENTLY SEEKING BASS PLAYER (to replace lost member) we have 2 lead guitar players, drummer, and singer. Our drummer is also exellent at backing vocals.

EQUIPMENT
Each member has their own semi high end gear .. Guitar players play marshall / 5150 EVH half stacks, and have multiple les pauls/ strats/ and other "sweet" instruments.. Drummer plays DW kit (or other boutique custom kit) We have house PA equipment at band room.. We have professional PA equipment available to us for every gig, with experienced sound guys to run it.
