What makes me different:
I'm a songwriter and recording musician open to working on new projects with other musicians, of all ages. I play Red Dirt/Texas Country, Western Swing, Bluegrass, Honky Tonk, Hillbilly guitar, fiddle, bass, steel, and sometimes drums. No pop country.

Family Friendly Music:
If Momma or Jesus wouldn't like it, then I don't play it. I don't do songs about getting hammered, country girl shake it, etc., What happens in the bed room, stays in the bed room. I understand that's part of life (I do have kids), but I don't want to hear you sing about it. I don't mind a beer in moderation, but drinking to excess and singing about it is for degenerates.

What Else?
In the daily grind, I am a web marketing guru with a BS degree in Web Design. This is relevant because I can build websites in my sleep. I've taken college courses in audio production and have lots of experience behind the recording/mixing console.

Do I rock?
I was in punk rock bands for a decade or so, then after the Lord found me, I played in worship bands for about 15 years. I still play a little unblack metal, hardcore, punk, and I'd be lying if I said these genres do not have an influence on my style. But I'm primarily mainstream old school red neck.

Fun Fact:
My fiddle teacher learned from Bill Monroe's fiddler, Roger Smith.
