I've been playing music since I was twelve years old. My Focus has always been guitar, though I did learn trumpet and clarinet for a few years as well. I'm also fairly skilled with a harmonica. I've been getting much more serious about music the last couple years but it has been hard for me to find musicians who will match my level of dedication and commitment.
I attend school full time at a local university and work a very flexible schedule around that.
I love simple music. I love harmonies. I see music as a way for generations to tell their story and pass it down, and to me that quality is lost in a lot of music today that is mostly showmanship. Good, fundamental music is what I like to play most. Of course I like Radiohead and the like, but I'm just not interested in making music that people can't pick up and learn on their own.
That means: Folk, Folk-rock, Bluegrass, Rock 'n' Roll, Blues, Southern Rock, etc.
