I've been recording an album for almost a year. My intentions were to write, record, play and produce the whole project in it's entirety. (That's a big dish, growing stale, and the taste is not as sweet as I had inticapated)....so......That's why I'm here. I've got 8 songs 70% recorded on pro tools, stuck on my computer,I would have rather pulled them out for a more proper demonstration, but I am hesitant to move the files in fear of losing them.(I did that once)I recorded all but one of these live on an acoustic with an 8 track to get the basic overall idea of the songs out. (so have mercy)Somebody with a production background would be helpful, percusionist/sampler, Vocal talents are very welcome,(to copmpliment, calaborate, and create), I'd be up for a talented ukelele player if it sounded good! Basically, anybody skilled with manipulating the tone and rate of a soundwave wether it be singing, playing, crunching zeros and ones on a software program, ect. I am not trying to form a band, there is no weekly expectations, studio rent, band drama, I want creative input....inputed....Also, I've been seriously contemplating a compilation album of lets say 3 to 5 writer/vocal talents (I have some in mind)take their best songs and record them all with the same core musicians (to bridge the different styles)kind of like a "musical circus" At the end of the day each artist would have leading jurisdiction on what direction their song goes and the final stamp of approval. I need help carrying the chorus in this one. I had a buddy, who inspired the song, he was signed on to carry the chorus, lack of motivation pushed me to take on the burden.
