Band to Join, Vocalist, Acoustic Guitar, Trumpet, Keyboard, Piano, Upright bass, Cello, Ukulele.

Howdy! I'm a margininally competent rock drummer who enjoys pretending to play jazz and other genres. I've been playing for 40 years, since I was 10. I played a lot of punk and grunge in my youth. I've also played urban jazz, country, folk, and lots of original indy rock. I've played in church services (although I'm not religious) and in the pit orchestra for musical theater. Once upon a time I played while marching with my high school band in the Macy's Day parade.

I'm currently in a band but am looking for additional opportunities to play with other people to stretch my skills. I prefer original music over covers. I really enjoy small groups - trios are my favorite, but I'm flexible. Lately I've been focusing on playing small kits at lower volumes - so if you're doing singer/songwriter stuff with acoustic guitar, ukulele or piano, we might be a good fit.

I'm available to jam. If things click I could practice one a week. I'm also available for recording on small indy projects, etc.
