ABOUT

I am primarily a game music composer as well as a multi-instrumentalist. I studied guitar and music composition at Winthrop University and Music Composition briefly at Berklee College of Music. I'm fluent in composition, orchestration, arranging, music theory, game audio, and most audio production.

So far I've scored around 30 indie game titles released across Xbox One and PC, as well as a few jingles and short films.

I'm just looking for fellow musicians in the area to meet and jam with to keep my chops up. Since composing is my main gig now I want to make sure my instrument proficiency doesn't slip too much haha. I'm also always looking for musicians to hire on my soundtracks, so if you're interested in that let me know.

One thing I'm particularly interested in would be in joining a video game music band. If that's something you're interested in definitely let me know.

As far as skill level here's a general breakdown:

Guitar - Intermediate to Advanced: I can play most standard things especially given enough time. I haven't played virtuoso guitar music in a while, so my chops with that aren't where they used to be (mostly sweep picking these days I think).

Piano/keys - I'm an intermediate pianist, mostly playing Elton John and some video game and classical music. I would say I could play most rhythm parts but any sort of fast licks on keys would take me extra time to get down. Have taken private lessons for some time as well as use piano to compose.

Bass - I'm a passable bassist. Can hold down a groove and play some Acid Jazz here and there

Bouzouki - could hold it down in basic Irish ensembles. Would likely require knowing the tunes ahead of time.

Mandolin - still learning but can hold down basic tunes, do chops as necessary. Not a improviser or anything like that yet.
