Hey everyone, I'm just starting to get very heavily back into music after serving in the military and then working in the oilfield both of which careers dominated my free time. I began playing guitar at age 8 and have always been a true metal head, almost every subgenre has been able to hold my attention in one way or another. What I lack in songwriting experience I make up for in technical ability; due to the lack of metal musicians in central AL where I grew up I spent most of my time practicing alone and becoming very proficient at playing. I'm a recent transplant to North Florida and have decided since I am now self employed it's a good time to really buckle down and invest some time in what I actually enjoy in life which is playing music. Mostly been daydreaming about starting up something Heavy/Doomy/Sludgy with a sprinkling of some melodies and sweet riffage , but I have always loved all heavy music so I'd love nothing more than to jam with some talented folks and see what music happens
