Lead singer looking for like minded players to start local rock band in the San Luis Obispo area. Playing covers to start and possibly working on original songs if things click. Looking to put together a list of covers which are not the ordinary bar band songs. I grew up in Chicago, and was inspired listening to WXRT radio and developed a love of Alternative/Progressive rock. From David Bowie to the Replacements and Tragically Hip to the White Stripes, NRBQ, Ween, Cracker and the Flaming Lips, I feel we could do a set of " covers" which would sound fresh to the audience.
