I've got a full arsenal of songs that I've been working on with a phenomenal drummer. We both have a decent collection of good, solid gear. Both of us have plenty of experience touring, recording, playing live, and I know the ins and outs of the independent/small/diy record industry.
We have a few bassists to pick from, but we're not 100% sold on anyone, yet.
We're mainly looking for a lead guitarist at the moment. We would love to find a creative, interesting player that can switch gears fairly easily from, say...ambient/atmospheric playing, to full on shredding/wailing. An ideal candidate to me would be someone that can at least somewhat identify with players like Dave Navarro, Billy Corgan, Jonny Greenwood, John Frusciante, Jimmy Page, etc.
As far as a bass player goes, we're looking for someone solid and simple, first and foremost. Though it would be nice to find someone who is at least a little knowledgeable about reggae/dub, jazz, ethnic/world music.
