Experienced keyboardist/pianist used to playing and recording with serious musicians. Not really looking to join a band, but open to the right situation if it were to arise. I would consider filling in for that “special gig” where you wouldn’t normally have keys, but. . .
Not too concerned about the style of music as long as it is done well. I enjoy doing covers from the 70’s, 80s and 90s. I also sing background and play some saxophone (getting back into it after many years) - Tenor and alto.

Influences
I’m more of a follower of songs than of bands/albums/CDs I grew up on the bands and singer-songwriters of the seventies: James Taylor, Seals and crofts, Kansas, Boston, Steely Dan (probably one of my biggest influences), Bread, Pat Metheny, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder; The Eagles, all those Motown hits, Ambrosia, Huge fan of anything with great vocals and arrangements. Love a lot of R&B from the 90s, Also listened to a lot of Bruce Hornsby, Bonnie Raitte, etc.. Anything produced by Quincy Jones. Favorite Albums: Steely Dan “Aja”; Claus Ogerman “Gate of Dreams”; Christopher Cross, Chaka Khan “I Feel For You”; Martin Sexton “Black Sheep”; CPR: “CPR” , Marc Cohn (these choices may be different on any given day). Others that come to mind, Seal, Adele (some), Under-rated musicians/groups: The Carpenters, Glen Campbell, Bee Gees, ok. I could go on forever. Classical: Any of the Beethoven Piano Sonatas; Fasch.
