this is the music i'm making right now. my own music has been evolving in many different directions. I want to explore more with a side project band. I'd make a great frontman of a band, and want the chance to perform in that way.
I'm looking for a band in which multiple members can be lead singers/collaborate on songwriting. The biggest thing i'm looking for is someone who has a lot of soul who can sing harmonies, the collaboration on songwriting is really the cherry on top. I was thinking for the sound i'm looking for it would probably be better for me to work with a girl, but I'm open to ideas.
lately in particular i'm really excited by The Mamas and the Papas (the vocal arrangements!), Todd Rundgren, Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac, Marvin Gaye, Laura Nyro, and lots of psychedelic and doo wop.
i'm looking for people who are 18-23 (same age range as me, as I just turned 20), and people who know their instruments and can keep up with me or humble me with their awesome musicianship.
open to ideas, experimentation. Looking to go in a very unique direction, and try something new sonically.
