ABOUT

I know this site does not like have any one give out there email address so you can look me up on if you want. Or you can try to put the pieces together if you take "mcp1beme and put an at sign on it and if you know that I have AOL mail you can add a dot com to that and get my email. I have been playing the bass ever since the late 70"s. The first band I was in was an all original band (so this means no covers Like Rob Zombie) After High School I started taking Lessons at Hot Licks (like when they first opened up) the bass teacher told me that I needed to find a more advanced bass teacher (but I thought he was doing great) So I took his advice and started taking lessons out in Manassas Va. At Music City. I got into a great band in the mid to late 80's called Razor Edge it was a great band we played covers and a lot of Originals. The Guitar Player had just graduated from MIT the Singer was on a Break from Kroupt (Sean McAuliffe) the drum is one of the best I have ever played with and he is still available to play with me now. We did some great studio work. But somehow the drummer could now longer play with us that's when the Singer and Guitar player got a Combat recording artist to play drums. Then that when I had too many people telling me how to play my original bass lines and told me that they really did not want to play out. So I drop out of a great band (like a dumbass) As I wanted to get stage experience (which I may have hurt my reputation as a bass player) I got into a band (not a great band or a step up{sorry band mates if you are reading this} but more like a step down) but man did we play out We played everywhere, the Bayou, we opened for Childs Play as Jaxx, We played Scandals in OC. the Rage in Baltimore and every place in between. then after that ended I kept on playing and practicing songs wanted to get a band together. My daughter was born in 2000 so that side tracked me for a bit but I came out and I am on the other side with a better Bass head and one new cab but I still have the 90's bruiser bass cabinets.

Influences

most of my influences are the band I listen to all my life and the ones that most stuck out were Yes, Rush, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Kiss (at first) Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, K C and the Sunshine Band, Stevie Wonder, The Sugar Hill Gang introduced me to a new sound sort of like a Rap type of music but way more melodic than the repeated drowning of todays (non melodic) rap. The came the 90's which brought a great era David Lee Roth (Bill Sheehan) Ozzy with more awesome bands Warrant, Ugly Kid Joe, Bang Tango, Shotgun Messiah, Sound Garden, Alice in Chains, Green Day, Shinedown, Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeath, Stu Hamm and Joe, which brings me to today there are a lot of bands that I like and listen to and want to play there songs that I haven't mentioned.
