SEEKINGBand to Join.
Slide guitar specialist: electric, accoustic, bottleneck and lap-style. I strive to push the boundaries of possibility with bottleneck style through advanced techniques. That being said, my objective is always to contribute to the overall sound of the band or recording: technique is a means to an end. I can be reached on or my user name at dot net.

PD5 blues -Harmonic overdose
PD5 blues -Harmonic overdoseEvery once in a while you hear a player that makes you realize there's so much more that can be done with your instrument. I happened to see a you tube video of Marc Athlan and that's just what happened. Marc takes some of the techniques of Sonny Landreth (fretting behind the slide, ghost harmonics, etc.) and adds a whole new bag of tricks on top of that. While I have a long way to go with most of this, let's just say, I'm inspired. Thanks Marc! Here's me, hacking away on a a blues track I put together that sound a little too much like a Cialis commercial.
