My name is Mel. I grew up singing. My dad is a musician. He was successful, but (as we all know) there's a lot of compromises you have to make to make it in the industry. I decided I wanted to take a break and focus on school. So I graduated a couple of years ago with my masters. I think I built a solid enough foundation to focus more on my passions, which is music. I grew up playing the piano, but I think I've been too far removed from it to consider my self a pianist.
