Looking for people who just love playing music together. Mostly for fun, but some gigs would be ok as well. Toured for many years with a Pop band, Holiday Inn circuit, but now enjoy playing mostly with family acoustically on what I would call a mix of Bluegrass, Mountain Country (as opposed to Mainstream), Sourthern Gospel, with a little Pop-Rock influence at times.
Looking to gather regularly with other players/singers that enjoy the above genre(s).
With a midi/PC digital recording setup, I would also enjoy recording/videoing some sessions. I have a view music (as well as other Gardening, DYI type videos) posted to be under user MarvPerk3.
My "Other" instrument is a Banjalele, which is a Banjo-like instrument, but smaller and with 4 strings tuned like a Ukulele.
My family is somewhat far flung, so I am looking to find folks nearby to play with every week or so, in casual get togethers.
