ABOUT

We are an original band that plays a lot of local cover shows,
2-3 shows a month, sometimes more.
Messenger was formed by singer/bassist Frank Clifton Herring in 2008 together with guitarist Vlad Gurin, a former Sony artist with the Moldovan band AGNY. They have played many venues along the Baltimore/Washington corridor and music festivals stretching from Ocean City, MD to Chicago, IL. Recently signed with JIB Machine Records, they have produced 3 studio albums with positive reviews.
But they love playing cover shows - choosing songs people love to hear and move to! The original Messenger sound arises from Hard Rock, Heavy Metal and Progressive Rock influences that stretch from Black Sabbath to Rush to Alter Bridge. And their live show is always an unforgettable blast.
