Interested in (rock/hard rock/metal) bands/musicians that are talented and easy going. Not interesting in paying to play or playing to fund the bands needs. I do this for enjoyment not to become famous. I play for my share of the cut! Time away from my family has to have a price...LOL. I am currently writing originals with a guitarist for anyone needing bass and guitar.

Not overly interested popular music(103.9, ect.)or cover bands without originals too! I think Covers and Originals are both cool, however I'd prefer a combination. Tribute Bands are also cool if it's the right band to cover. That's where the money is. Bands with a following, as well as a long history and back catalog to choose from. When done well, Tribute bands can pay off big.

A good "SINGER" is a must. If the vocalist is limited to only being able to scream or growl, I'm already bored..LOL! Been there, done that, got several T-Shirts to prove it. Not that there isn't a time and place for that style, but you have to be able to do harmony vocals as well......there needs to be a vocal hook! Also not interested in playing with people that do not practice on their own time. If you can't learn 2-4 cover songs a week, show up to practice and play them, there is a commitment to practice issue and that's a waste of time.

I will fully commit to touring out of state if the right opportunity is revealed, of course again time & money is the major factor.

I consider myself a progressive bassist. I can pull back on the flash and stick to in the pocket roots when it is called for, but I also like to push myself technically as well. I play finger-style but I'm also proficient with a pick, I do slap and pop, sweeps, two handed tapping, and more...my email for contact is piperharkerya hoo dot com.
