I'm 17 and I've been playing guitar a little over 2 years. I just left my old band (Corrupted) due to musical differences and I'm trying to start an all original death metal band (something progressive like Death or Opeth). I have a bass player who's 15 and I need a death metal vocalist (I'd prefer someone with some old school death metal vocals in the style of Chuck Schuldiner, Kelly Shaefer, David Vincent, John Tardy, etc.), a decent drummer who can keep a beat and do some double bass stuff, and a good rythym guitarist. The bass player and I are young but we're very committed. It's hard finding death metal musicians in rural Mississippi. Also, no metalcore fans who like Bullet For My Valentine, Trivium, Atreyu, As I Lay Dying, etc. I don't have a premium membership here so if you're interested in starting a band, call/text my cell phone at (662) 402-3002!
