One of my more unusual songs, Prisoner reflects a mellower side of metal. Sorry, it's far from perfect. I just figured this was far better than nothing.

ABOUT

I desperately want to form a serious metal band. I write music and lyrics and have played guitar for 5 years. My vision for the band includes a mix of singing and screaming, usually simultaneously. By this I mean, pretty raspy vocals, but remaining pretty intentional about maintaining musicality through vocal pitch. Apart from that, I love progressive songwriting. One of my favorite metalisms is the genre's ready ability to step out of the familiar song template of verse chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus.

I suppose if you were to boil my style down to a short description, you could say it's a mixture of djent, groove, thrash, and prog metal. I'm open to anything, though, as long as it sounds like mature, well thought out music.

One more thing. As metal becomes increasingly anti-god, I feel I must say that I will not be a part of any group that even indirectly bashes people God. I am in this first and foremost for the music but would love to form a Christian group.
