ABOUT

Looking for musicians that want to do some studio recording. I play drums mainly but also play rhythm guitar and vocals. I play a Purdie Shuffle like Bernard, Bonham and Porcaro. I have a good grasp of music theory understanding CAGED, major minor scales, pentatonic scale, circle of 5ths, modes, etc on guitar. I recently started taking lessons to learn lead guitar but that's going to be a long road.

I also have a pretty nice home recording studio if you want to do some recording. Apollo x8p and Apollo Twin Quad, Focusrite Octepre, like 20 mics and a bunch of instruments too. I am pretty proficient with Pro Tools, Ableton Live and UA Console.

I have a good friend that plays guitar and keys very well. He used to be in a popular band in st. louis but moved to KC but he'll come around every once in awhile and do some recording. We might be able to convince him to come around more often if it makes sense.

I'm also in a band with a couple dudes and we're looking for another member or two. One guy plays rhythm guitar and sings and the other guy is a quality bass player. I play the drums with them and sometimes some lead but I'm just learning so not so good yet. We need a lead guitar badly.

I live in Soulard and have played at the 1860s open mic a dozen or so times with my band. I've played drums for quite a few people there. I can join you on rhythm guitar too.

I'm a huge Dylan fan but I like many genres. I'm really diggin Khruangbin right now. If you haven't heard them I recommend checking them out.

My number is (512) 565-3838. Hit me up if you want to get together.
