ABOUT

I started playing guitar in high- school and took it very seriously for a while. These days I spend more time practicing keys, but I still pick up the guitar pretty often and could make contributions to a band playing either. I played in a band in college, but just came home a few weeks ago and am going through some serious music withdrawal. I would really love to get involved in any kind of project, I'm comfortable playing lead guitar or sticking around in the background and just playing rhythms for a group that's looking to give there sound more body. I have experience playing rock, blues, funk, country and folk fingerpicking kind of stuff, really a bit of everything. I can also sight read or play by ear and I have a good understanding of theory. Music is important to me and I would love to get involved in any kind of project.

My earliest influences are Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin, but I like all music and don't stick to any genres: Mumford and sons, Bon Iver, RHCP, John Mayer, bill evans, coltraine, ellington, otis redding, neutral milk hotel, grateful dead are a few names on a long list.
